Making things better

It’s been an incredibly busy and productive year, with many changes introduced to help boost service levels, including:

  • A series of enhancements to wbfi.co.uk helping you deliver a more efficient service to your clients.
  • Improved product offering enabling you to support more of your clients through the introduction of our 95% purchase range, our Help to Buy Remortgage range (including retention of the equity loan) and our Assisted Mortgage range (our Joint Borrower Sole Proprietor arrangement).
  • Enhanced lending criteria such as interest only sale of property; 75% LTV capital raising for business purposes and holiday and second homes up to 95% LTV.
  • Consistently assessing and initially underwriting new mortgage applications and instructing valuations within 24 hours (our SLA is 48 hours).
  • Requiring fewer supporting documents due to improvements made to our underwriting process.
