Switching your clients mortgage using our product switch portal

Before you continue to our product switch portal, please ensure your client is eligible to use this process. If they are not eligible, you will instead need to complete our Illustration request form.

You can use our product switch portal if:

  • your client has a standard residential mortgage account
  • there are no more than two applicants
  • their deal is due to end in the next 4 months
  • their LTV is less than 90%
  • their mortgage is currently on our Standard Variable Rate or SVR with a potential reduction determined by their Loan to Value (LTV)
  • they are not amending their existing term or applying for additional borrowing
  • one element (sub account) is held
  • they pay their mortgage by Direct Debit

Continue to product switch portal

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to use our product switch portal and will instead need to complete our Illustration request form if:

  • your client has a Shared Ownership, Assisted Mortgage or Help to Buy mortgage
  • they have more than one element (sub account)
  • they're not up to date with their mortgage payments
    In this case, your client will need to speak to us directly about the arrears on their account by calling 0800 083 8031 or 0345 241 0593.
  • they don’t pay by Direct Debit
  • they’re looking to switch from a Discounted Variable Rate product with no ERCs and for the switch to be effective from the 1st of the following month
  • they’re looking to borrow more or change their mortgage term
