Leanne joined the West Brom in 2004 while studying for her degree at the University of Wolverhampton. Her experience led her to join the branch network where she was part of the relief team.

She joined the intermediary team in April 2015 as a Relationship Development Assistant within our established support team. This was where she got her appetite for the intermediary market and soon completed her CeMAP before successfully progressing to her current role of Business Development Manager in 2016.

Leanne’s time with us has seen her gain valuable knowledge of the Society, and particularly the Intermediary Team. She’s committed to do the best for her mortgage brokers, so you’ll be in safe hands.

Sheleen joins the West Brom having previously worked for HSBC for ten years, including five years as an intermediary Telephone Business Development Manager, as well as field based broker development activity. Sheleen is keen to use her experience to work with and to support her brokers and deliver first class service.

Away from work Sheleen enjoys spending time with her husband, the family pet dog, King Khan and her three children, a daughter and identical twin boys. Six years ago, Sheleen set up a Facebook group for mothers with multiples, who are based in the UK. Giving them an opportunity for them to come together, connect and share experiences with people that could relate and offer support. The group is proudly supporting 11k members.

Catia has held a variety of roles during her 10 years’ experience working with mortgages, from customer support, mortgage broker, and mortgage advisor to telephone BDM.

Catia’s long term plan was to become a Field Business Development Manager, and her experience as a mortgage broker and mortgage advisor for a bank, means she understands both sides of the industry. She’s passionate about building meaningful relationships with her brokers and helping more customers.

Away from work Catia is an avid sports fan: football, golf, Formula 1 - you name it! She’s a keen surfer, so covering the South West comes with its perks.

James joins the West Brom with over 17 years’ experience in the financial services industry. Most recently, he spent two years as an Intermediary Telephone Business Development Manager, where he was a finalist at the BMAs for Telephony Relationship Manager of the year.

Before this, James had been working in the mortgage industry as both a broker and directly for a high street bank, giving him the ability to see cases from a unique perspective. James prides himself on delivering a first-class intermediary partner experience.

Away from the office, James loves spending time with his wife and young son. When he’s not with them, you’ll usually find him at a music festival or concert!

Kathryn joined the West Brom in 2024 after many successful years as a broker.

Kathryn has extensive experience in financial services from retail banking to advising clients on their mortgage and protection needs, as well as successfully completing her Law LLB (Hons) giving her further knowledge and understanding on the legalities of property purchases.

Kathryn covers the South East and London. Living by the coast, Kathryn spends a lot of time at the beach with her two children and restoring classic Land Rovers with her husband.

Neil joins the West Brom with over 12 years’ experience in the mortgage industry, having worked in a number of roles that include working as a Mortgage & Protection Adviser, Sales Management and part of the Mortgage Market Review implementation group for a High Street Bank.

Neil will look to support our brokers in the North East and across Yorkshire by providing exceptional customer service and solutions to their lending enquiries.

Away from work, Neil loves spending his spare time exploring new places with his fiancé, their children and Oscar, the Golden Retriever. Neil is also a big football fan and tries to keep fit where possible.

Our specially trained and highly dedicated Intermediary Sales and Support Team consist of Jas, Andrew, Chloe, Kandis, Priya, Gino, Jas, Hannah and Patricia as well as Team manager Florence.

The team understands the importance of being on hand should you need to pick up the phone and talk to somebody. Upon speaking to any member of the team, you will find that they are more than happy to help with everything from burning pre-application queries, to technical support.

Each member of the team brings a wealth of experience in their own right and take great pride in their role to support our intermediary partners.
